During 1997, we started the "Sacred Birman Fanciers Group of Southern Africa" in an effort to bring together the small number of Birman breeders and fanciers, in order to work together in establishing this magnificent breed in Southern Africa.  This Group is actively involved in promoting the Birman, as well as the "newer" colours, in this country. We publish two magazines annually and have a growing membership of well over 100 members worldwide.  We welcome any correspondence and invite fellow Birman fans to drop us a line.
